We're here!!! Our first day in the second trimester! This is quite a landmark, as far as babies are concerned. Risk of miscarriage significantly declines after 13 weeks. And inside...baby is approximately 3 inches long and 1 1/2 oz. It can squint, frown, grimace, pee and suck its thumb! It also has fingerprints! The kidneys, liver and spleen are functioning, doing all those things they do...Ash knows better than I do ;)
We'll post some progress a little later on, complete with my first real knitting project! YIKES...the ball of yarn is as big as my head!
