Sweet Babies Mey: Weekend at Granny's

Life has been pretty sweet around here since Ashton graduated from Nursing School! We are very much looking forward to when all testing is said and done and we really and truly get our hubby/daddy back! Although he has been studying hard for his big board exam, we are still so grateful that the program itself is over.

We are gearing up to vacation in Kauai. We leave in less than a week! All the loose ends are coming together and I'm feeling more and more confident about a 5+ hour plane ride with Owen.

We spent the weekend at Granny Rose's house. Owen had a blast. I think he thought he was locked in a toy store, free to play and galavant as much as he wanted. One notable thing that he did, that I have never seen before, is counted the stairs as he walked up and down them. Grandma Rose said he went as far as 8 or 9, I think. Owen has repeated numbers to me and counted as far as 3 or 4 on his own but never up to 8 or 9 without me coaxing him along. AWESOME! Good work little O! Owen wore himself out playing as hard as he could. It was a great weekend away and a nice time for mom and dad to get away together too!
