Later that day was our 2 month check up at the dr. I wished we had started out on a better foot for the day because I knew he would be upset when he got his shots later on. The dr. measured him and weighed him. He's in the 95th percentile for height and about 50th for weight. This means he's still a long thin kid. He weighed in a 11.5 lbs. His height was 24 inches.
We've been trying to be better about getting more tummy time. He'll never get to work on his neck strength if we keep holding him and/or pushing him around in the stroller. We should be seeing him start to learn to roll over soon too. Another reason to make sure he gets plenty of time on his back and tummy without the swaddle.
Owen has a bumbo chair that he's not quite strong enough for but he came make due for a while in it. He's pretty happy to be in it but still kind of slumps to the side. He favors his right side still (since birth). This favortism comes from the positioning in my pelvis when he was stuck.
Things have been very good otherwise. I am loving being home and want to stay home with him forever right now. He's just so stinkin cute.
Here's a great pic taken today in his bumbo chair sportin a huge grin. He wanted to show all of you his dimples! Isn't he getting big!?!
